Start from a website
Enter a company website in Scouty. Scouty reviews what the company sells, how it presents itself, the language it uses, and the markets it appears to serve. The result includes:- company name, category, and description;
- short product or positioning signals;
- Language, used for research and campaign content;
- Market, used to find relevant competitors and default prospect locations.
Start from the business form
Use the form when you do not have a website. Scouty uses the language of your answers for content and the value you enter in Markets for market targeting. Give a complete description of what you sell and who buys it. Specific information produces better campaigns than broad phrases such as “business services.”Correct the profile

3
Choose language and market
Choose Content language. Then choose a specific market or Global.If Scouty could not determine the market, you must choose one before Explore competitors becomes available.

Save the profile. Scouty marks it Edited by you and updates the later steps to match your changes.
Explore competitors
Select Explore competitors after the market is set. Scouty returns up to five direct competitors with evidence that they serve that market. An international brand can appear when there is evidence that it operates in the selected market. Scouty may return fewer results when it cannot verify market relevance. It does not silently expand a specific local search to unrelated worldwide competitors. If a result is wrong, go back to the profile and make the market, category, description, or signals more specific.Choose a campaign
